Project Seeds of Love

We are in the initial phase of the project, and we have at the moment thirty children participating. Our financial needs right now are the funds to complete the finishing of two more rooms, and the purchase of furniture, like tables, chairs and cupboards.

The activities done with the children are

  and environmental protection

The “Project Seeds of Love” is a realization of the Agape Amazonas Foundation in partnership with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church Nova Esperança, in the town of Novo Airão, AM, being carried on by donations of their own volunteers. An important reason for starting the project was the high ratio of teenage pregnancies, as well as children and teenagers in the age of 10 to 13 years, who are getting introduced to drugs, alcohol and cigarretes. Many of those children are developing drug addictions and will turn themselves into drug dealers.

     Our goal is to reach children in the age of 6-12 years. We aim to lead them to know Jesus, take them away from street education, teach them to avoid drugs and alcohol, introduce them to habits of hygiene, basic notions of nutrition, and sexual education. We want to develop their intellectual capacities and form citizens involved in society, ensuring them a future away from drugs, prostitution and crime.
